Keswick Base Camp

Mission is our response to encountering Christ: a call to share his grace and promise of salvation with others. This means the Convention is more than an event; it’s a movement of hearts responding to God’s goodness and desiring to share his gospel with the world.

From the very first Keswick Convention over 150 years ago, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost world has been part of our DNA. 

We want Keswick Convention to be a catalyst for local and global mission, where our time together sparks in us a love for sharing Christ wherever we live and work- and in the nations of the world.

What is Base Camp?

Base Camp is the vibrant heart of the Keswick Convention, and at its centre is the Mission Exhibition. Buzzing with excitement, this is where you can see and hear about all that God is doing across his world from our mission partners.

For years, we have welcomed agencies working on the front lines of mission, both locally and overseas, to build the Church and extend Christ’s kingdom. Together, they paint a picture of the gospel in action, inviting everyone who visits the Mission Exhibition to catch the vision and join in.

What will you find at Base Camp?

Next to the Mission Exhibition, you’ll also find:

  • The Convention Bookshop (run by 10ofThose)

  • A welcoming café space to gather and recharge

  • Morning Prayer Meetings to start the day

  • A live relay of the morning Bible Readings and Evening Celebrations

Who can exhibit?

Agencies that are registered Christian charities, passionately committed to global mission, and aligned with the values of Keswick Ministries are welcome to apply to exhibit at the Convention. These mission partners inspire and equip people to respond to God’s goodness by serving for the gospel at home or overseas. They also:

  • Mobilise people to share Christ’s love in practical, life-changing ways

  • Resource local churches and Christians to grow in faith and mission

  • Provide training and encouragement for effective Christian service

These partner agencies help all who come to the Convention to have a refreshed vision for drawing people to the beauty of Jesus and the good news of the gospel wherever they go.

Mission+Plus

Mission+Plus is a series of lunchtime gatherings where mission agencies share more about their vision and work. These interactive sessions run Monday to Thursday during each week of the Convention, offering a relaxed and engaging space to hear and be stirred by all that God is doing.
