Joshua 7 is one of the most sobering passages in all of Scripture. It’s terrible to see that Achan doesn’t just die for his sin himself, but many around him are victims of his terrible choices. Having been warned that ‘our sin will find us out’, we’ll then look at what it means to lead ourselves well in terms of our thinking, our feelings, our choices and our physical health. How do we internalise the great truths of the gospel to keep ourselves in thanksgiving and stop us falling into resentment?
