Faithfulness When My Life Isn't What I Want It To Be: Mental Health
Sharon Hastings speaks on “Faithful when my life isn’t what I want it to be: Mental Health” from 1 Peter 4:19.
Life was just what I wanted it to be, then mental illness shattered it completely. My journey towards recovery involves acceptance of ongoing symptoms, and change – of both medication and mindset. 1 Peter 4:19 challenges me, as one of ‘those who suffer according to God’s will’, to ‘commit myself to my faithful creator and continue to do good’. It’s never easy, but, in return, God offers a life worth living.
