Matthew: Following Jesus

We meet the Lord Jesus as He acts mercifully and miraculously in the lives of a diversity of people facing various challenges. These episodes tie in with our theme Grateful, not so much in gratitude expressed by these people, but in the way they highlight reasons we have to be grateful to Him.
Jesus quickly is recognised as a miracle maker and great healer but in these verses (Matthew 8:18-22) he shares the true cost of what it is to be his disciple.
