Volunteering at the Convention

Campus Team

As a Campus Team volunteer, you’ll be one of the first faces people meet when they arrive, offering a warm welcome, giving directions, and keeping the campus safe and tidy. It’s an active, outdoor role that suits people who enjoy being on their feet, meeting others, and working together to keep things running well (whatever the weather!).

Key Information
  • Location: Around the site (outdoors)

  • Arrival: Saturday, 1pm

  • Hours: Around 8 hours per day, usually over 2 of 3 shifts (8am–2pm, 2–5pm, 6–10:30pm)

  • Skills Needed: Teamwork, clear communication, energy, patience, good humour, and flexibility

  • Physical Requirements: On your feet for long periods, able to lift or move heavy items

  • Other Requirements: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
